  1. Scope

These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases made through TheSheetBook online store. The store currently offers digital products primarily to customers located in the United States.

Any conflicting customer terms apply only if expressly accepted by us in writing.

  1. Products

TheSheetBook sells downloadable digital products, including spreadsheet templates, planners, trackers, calculators, PDF guides and related files.

No physical product will be shipped.

The product description on the relevant product page explains the included file formats, features and software compatibility. Product images may contain example data for demonstration purposes.

  1. Order and Contract Formation

Products displayed in the online store constitute an invitation to place an order.

By clicking the final payment button, you submit a binding offer to purchase the selected product. A contract is formed when we accept the order by sending an order confirmation or by making the digital product available for download.

We reserve the right to reject or cancel orders affected by an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, unauthorized payment or technical error. Any payment already received for a cancelled order will be refunded.

  1. Prices, Taxes and Payment

Prices are displayed in the currency assigned to the customer’s market.

TheSheetBook applies the German small-business regulation under Section 19 of the German VAT Act (UStG). German VAT is therefore not separately shown.

Sales tax or other taxes required by applicable law may be calculated and added during checkout.

Available payment methods are displayed at checkout. Payment is due when the order is placed.

  1. Digital Delivery

After successful payment, the purchased files are normally made available immediately on the order confirmation page and through a download email.

Payment verification or security reviews may delay delivery.

The customer is responsible for providing a valid email address and for downloading and safely storing the purchased files. If a download link does not work, the customer should contact us using the email address stated above.

  1. Technical Requirements

Depending on the product, compatible software may include Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets or a PDF reader. A Google account and internet connection may be required to use Google Sheets.

The required formats and compatibility are stated in the product description. The customer is responsible for checking these requirements before purchasing.

Editing formulas, protected areas, layouts or file structures may affect product functionality.

  1. License and Permitted Use

Unless a product description expressly provides different license terms, each purchase grants the customer a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the product for their own personal or internal business purposes.

Employees or contractors may use the product solely on behalf of the purchasing customer or business.

The customer may not:

  • resell, redistribute, sublicense or share the original files;

  • upload the files to public websites, shared marketplaces or file-sharing services;

  • provide copies to unrelated individuals or businesses;

  • claim the product or its design as their own;

  • modify the product for resale or redistribution;

  • use product images, descriptions or promotional materials without permission.

All intellectual property rights remain with TheSheetBook.

  1. Refunds and Problems with Digital Products

Because digital products are delivered electronically and cannot be physically returned, purchases are generally non-refundable once access or download has been provided.

This does not limit any mandatory legal rights. If a file is defective, unavailable, materially different from its description or cannot be opened despite meeting the stated technical requirements, the customer should contact us. We will reasonably attempt to provide a replacement, corrected file, technical assistance or an appropriate refund.

Further details are provided in our Refund Policy.

  1. Updates

A purchase includes the version of the product available at the time of purchase.

Future updates, new features or continued access to revised versions are not guaranteed unless expressly stated in the product description. If an updated file is provided, the customer may receive a new download notification.

  1. Informational Disclaimer

TheSheetBook products are organizational tools and templates. They do not constitute legal, tax, accounting, financial, medical or other professional advice.

Calculations, examples and suggested categories are provided for organizational and educational purposes only. Customers remain responsible for verifying their information and obtaining professional advice where appropriate.

  1. Warranty and Liability

Mandatory rights relating to defective digital products remain unaffected.

We are fully liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health.

For slight negligence involving an essential contractual obligation, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Any further liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

We are not responsible for problems caused by incompatible software, unauthorized file modifications, failure to follow the included instructions or third-party services outside our reasonable control.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

If the customer is a consumer, this choice of law does not remove any mandatory consumer protections provided by the law of the country or state in which the customer normally resides.

Statutory rules concerning jurisdiction remain unaffected.

  1. Consumer Dispute Resolution

We are neither obligated nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

  1. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions for future purchases. The version displayed when an order is placed applies to that purchase.
